FPAW 2022 Spring Meeting

Spring 2022 FPAW Meeting

Dear Friends and Partners in Aviation Weather,

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Spring 2022 FPAW Meeting will be held IN-PERSON in the MITRE 1 Auditorium (1H220) on the campus of The MITRE Corporation, 7525 Colshire Drive, McLean, VA 22102 on Tuesday, April 19th and Wednesday, April 20th, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EDT both days. For those unable to travel to the meeting, teleconferencing capabilities will be provided, making this a “hybrid” meeting. Please note that this meeting marks a return to the pre-COVID FPAW meeting time structure, i.e., the FPAW Planning Meeting will take place on the first half of Day 1, and then the FPAW Plenary Meeting will follow on the second half of Day 1 and all of Day 2.

** Important – MITRE Vaccination Policy for In-Person Attendees **

MITRE policy requires all visitors to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination with an official issued vaccination card or a photo of the card each time they enter a MITRE facility. In addition, effective March 1, 2022, MITRE policy states that wearing a mask is no longer required for large MITRE meetings and gatherings, as well as in the cafeterias. However, individuals may choose to mask in ANY space in ANY MITRE facility at ANY time.

** Important – Registration Information for All Attendees **

All attendees, both in-person and virtual, must register for the Spring 2022 FPAW Meeting at the FPAW web site here. During the registration process, you will be asked to select either in-person and remote attendance. If there is any possibility that you might attend in-person, you are strongly encouraged to select that option. This will facilitate entry into the meeting room.

The latest agenda, hotel information and a map of the MITRE campus can be accessed on the same registration FPAW web page.

Teleconferencing information will be sent by email to all registrants prior to the meeting.

This promises to be a special FPAW meeting, on multiple levels. We hope to see as many of you in-person as possible.
