As a reminder, the reason we have six openings of various lengths, instead of the anticipated four 3-year openings, is because two 2024-2025 FPAW SC members had to withdraw earlier in the year due to changes in work circumstances. The two-year Regulators & Standards slot and the one-year Users slot came from this situation.
I will be creating ballots and sending candidate background materials to all FPAW SC members by the end of this week. The election will take place during the week of September 8th, and I intend to advise the candidates, followed by you, on the results of the election no later than September 15th.
If the fates align, maybe some of the new FPAW SC members will be at the Fall 2025 FPAW Meeting at Campbell Scientific in person. Fingers crossed!
